Opinions of tomorrow - essays by student journalists
Media-makers at the Cologne School of Journalism think forwards and reflect key issues of our time
The opinions and views of the younger generation should be heard more - but how do people in their early 20s actually view our world? In the #ThinkForwards20xx project, we are cooperating with the Cologne School of Journalism to give budding journalists a forum for their topics and arguments. The project #ThinkForwards20xx follows up on Think.Order.Form.Forwards. In 2019, we took up Alfred Herrhausen's thoughts and ideas in this multimedia project with 40 contributors and transferred them into a discourse of the present. #ThinkForwards20xx is now looking further ahead. Because in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, many topics from Think.Order.Form.Forwards.appear in a new light: our reality today reflects their progressiveness and significance.
With the short essays of the #ThinkForwards20xx project, we address business people, politicians, citizens and society as a whole. The essays by young journalists serve as an occasion for reflection, provide inspiration and make an active contribution to shaping the future of our free and open society. The short essays are published here in the publications section as well as on our social media channels.
